Welcome to Michigan Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., a leader in Ob/Gyn care in West Michigan. We have been providing the best comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services to women of all ages in the Grand Rapids area for nearly 15 years. The physicians at Michigan OBGYN strive to provide all of our patients with compassionate, comprehensive, quality, and timely health care using the latest technological advancements and procedures. Our offices utilize electronic charting and up to date software technology, so whether it is the latest minimally invasive surgery or just a routine check up, our goal is to make every visit as efficient as possible. About us

Steven J. Lown, D.O., F.A.C.O.O.G.

Dr. Lown received an undergraduate degree from Aquinas College and earned his medical degree from Kansas City University-College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI in 1994. Dr. Lown is presently a Clinical Professor at the Michigan State University College of Medicine Surgical Subspecialties. He is also a Certified National Trainer for minimally invasive Gynecological Surgery and Laparoscopic Hysterectomies and is certified to perform da Vinci robotic surgical procedures. Dr. Lown is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians & Gynecologists, the Michigan Osteopathic Association, and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Outside the office, he enjoys reading, outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with his family. Dr. Lown and his wife have 3 children.

Mary Beth Grey, D.O., F.A.C.O.O.G.

Dr. Grey received an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and also earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. She is presently a Clinical Instructor at the Michigan State University College of Medicine in the department of surgical subspecialties. Dr. Grey is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians & Gynecologists and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. Outside the office, she enjoys skiing, gardening and traveling. Dr. Grey and her husband have 4 children.

Judy A. Florido, D.O., F.A.C.O.O.G.

Dr. Florido received an undergraduate degree from Alma College and earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI in 2002. She is currently a Clinical Instructor in the department of surgical subspecialties in the Michigan State University College of Medicine. Dr. Florido is board certified in Obstetrics / Gynecology. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians & Gynecologists and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, running, traveling and spending time with her family. Dr. Florido and her husband have 4 children.

Peter E. Kaczkofsky, D.O., F.A.C.O.O.G.

Dr. Kaczkofsky received an undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and also earned his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. He is presently a Clinical Instructor in the department of surgical subspecialties at Michigan State University in their College of Medicine. Dr. Kaczkofsky is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians & Gynecologists and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. Dr. Kaczkofsky is also certified to perform da Vinci robotic surgical procedures. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing and sailing. Dr. Kaczkofsky and his wife have 2 children.

She completed her obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. She is currently a Clinical Instructor in the department of surgical subspecialties in the Michigan State University College of Medicine. Dr. Hansul is board certified in Obstetrics / Gynecology. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians & Gynecologists and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. Outside the office, she enjoys skiing, sailing, gardening and traveling. Dr. Hansul and her husband have 2 children.

Brad A. Irving, D.O., F.A.C.O.O.G.

Dr. Irving joined Michigan OB/GYN in May 2011. He earned a B.S. Degree from Hope College and a Medical Degree from Midwest University, College of Medicine. Dr. Irving completed his internship at Tempe St. Luke's Hospital in Tempe, AZ and his residency at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. His specialties include: minimally invasive surgery, urinary incontinence, ultrasound, and osteopathic manipulation. He was awarded Physician of the Year by Metro Health Hospital in 2011. He is a member of the AOA,CMDA, and is a Fellow of the ACOOG. Dr. Irving is know for his thorough and caring approach. Dr. Irving's personal interests include being a good husband and father, involvement with his church, medical mission work, and Bible Study. He stays active with ice hockey, running, golf and fly fishing.
